FULL VIDEO PRESENTATION BELOW

In the coming weeks, dental offices and other facilities will be preparing to reopen their offices. As they do so, they face the risk of exposure to patients that could be COVID-19 positive but asymptomatic.  The risk of aerosolization during dental procedures can be a risk to dental professionals and patients. This webinar will cover a literature review on the risk to  staff and patients.  We will also provide guidance on different protocols and technologies that can be implemented into a practice to address the risk.

Learning Objectives

  1. Understand the  COVID-19 risks to dental staff
  2. Review of the literature to understand transmission routes
  3. Realize actions that dental professionals can take to minimize risk to patients and themselves working in this environment
